About this video:

The news of Abraham Lincoln's assassination hit Philadelphia hard on April 15, 1865. The mournful city would prepare to host Lincoln's casket at Independence Hall on the funeral train's route back to Springfield, Illinois. Lincoln's body lay in state for over 30 hours while hundreds of thousands of Philadelphians waited in line to see the dead president.
